If you run a musculoskeletal clinic, physiotherapy practice, chiropractic office or sports medicine team, you probably refer for imaging on a regular basis. Block booking lets you secure volume pricing for your patients' standing EOS scans at ScanAlign, standing EOS imaging in London, with simpler scheduling and consolidated invoicing.
Who is block booking designed for?
Block booking is designed for any healthcare professional or organisation that regularly refers patients for diagnostic imaging. It is not limited to one specialty.
Pre-treatment alignment baselines and progress monitoring.
Pre-operative planning and post-operative follow-up imaging.
Squad or cohort bookings for pre-season screening.
Full-body standing views to guide manual therapy programmes.
If you are not yet set up to refer, you can register to refer patients in a few minutes.
How does the block booking process work?
The process is straightforward. You tell us what you need, and we build a package around your referral pattern.
Get in touch
Contact us with an estimate of your monthly or quarterly referral volume. Let us know which scan types you typically need, such as spine, lower limb or full body.
Receive a tailored quote
We send you a clear pricing schedule based on volume tiers, scan type and your preferred term length. No hidden fees.
Schedule your patients
Book individual appointments through your dedicated scheduling link, or send us a cohort list and we organise the slots for you.
Reports delivered, invoice consolidated

What is included in a block booking package?
Every block booking package includes the scan itself and the clinical report. There are no extra charges for the items listed below.
Full alignment report
A detailed standing alignment assessment prepared by a specialist diagnostic radiographer.
Flexible scheduling
Book patients individually or submit a cohort list for batch scheduling.
Consolidated invoicing
One clear monthly invoice for all scans, rather than individual patient billing.
Low radiation imaging
EOS uses about 90% less radiation than a standard X-ray, around ten times less.
For details on individual EOS scan cost, the cost page explains how single self-pay scans are priced.
Why would a clinic choose standing EOS imaging over standard X-rays?
Standing EOS imaging captures the skeleton under natural load, which reveals alignment problems that lying-down scans can miss. When a patient lies on a table, muscles relax and gravity is removed. Subtle pelvic tilts, leg-length differences and compensatory curves can disappear from the image.
For your patients, this means more clinically useful information from a single visit. The body is a connected chain from feet to head. A problem in one area, such as a hip tilt, can cause compensation elsewhere, and the pain your patient reports may be far from the true source. Standing whole-body imaging captures that full picture.
A note on soft-tissue imaging. EOS shows bones, joints and alignment beautifully. For soft tissue, discs or nerves, MRI is usually the better tool. Many referring clinicians use both. A standing EOS scan maps the structural alignment, and an MRI, if needed, examines specific soft-tissue concerns.
